This post hopes to shine some light on the deeper aspects of what we call prosperity and abundance. It challenges the audience to look beyond the surface and take hold of the underlying principles. I’d really love to engage some people in a conversation about this idea.
If you look at the leaves on a tree or the grasses in the field, it is easy to see that abundance is an integral part of God’s reality. That’s why in Matthew 6:27-30 Jesus was quoted as saying, “Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will God not much more clothe you, oh you of little faith?”
It’s amazing what a little light can do.
