You Know the Way - My Final Worship Service at First Congregational Church Boulder, UCC

The men I’ve done ministry with for the past 6.5 years know me pretty well. For my going away gift they gave me exactly what I would have given myself.

I’ve never been much of a building person. But, this place was my home for just under 6.5 years. A lot happened here and my youngest and I shared some tears today when we said goodbye. Now we must prepare for the next hello. #foreverythingthereisaseason

Last night I dreamed my buddy, Joyce Lebra was alive. She asked me why I hadn’t come to see her recently. I told her it was because she died. She said that she didn’t die. But that she had just moved into a bigger place. I said that I didn’t realize and that I didn’t know where she moved to. She said that I knew the way. And then suddenly, my older daughter and I were at her new place. She was about 50 years younger than she is in this picture and was very excited to show me around. She was also as direct and to the point as she was in the 6 years that I knew her on earth. It’s cool that I dreamed about her while I’m in this transition.
