The Dots Are Not Connected

What if there are no dots? What if there are no connections? What if All really is One and One really is All? What if there is only eternal being in Oneness and Jesus to the Chrizzity Chrizist knows what’s up and is calling us into that reality.

John 17:20-23 (New King James Version)
Jesus Prays for All Believers
“I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

Man, can it get any clearer?  You know that you know that we are One.  It’s time to stop lying to ourselves and live the really Real.  When we separate ourselves from others it is because we are either seeing something in ourselves that we are afraid we can’t be or we are denying something that we know that we are.  When we give our power to things that appear to be outside of ourselves it is because we are addicted to being victims or because we are trying to hold others down.  Well people, we are eternally One with the God and there is nothing we can undo about it because God is One.  We can deny Reality, but we cannot make it unreal.

Live You! Be One! Become a We!

[…] What is scary for most people about accepting this is that they think that accepting that they are already living in the Abundant Reality of God means that they will have to be happy with what they presently have.  They think that it means they can no longer have hopes and dreams.  If they are content now, how will they ever get to be bazillionaires?  Being content now is a threat to the happiness they might have in the future if they “get what they want”.  There’s no motivation to do anything if they are already content, so it is better to never be happy now so that they can be happy in the future.  Of course, that makes all of the sense in the world (said sarcastically).  If you want to get more into that insane logic, check out my previous post, Get Rich or Try Dying and if you are interested in understanding what I mean when I talk about the Oneness and the All in allness of God and consequently God’s infinite Abundant Reality, then check out The Dots Are Not Connected. I was thinking about this again today. If the dots are not really connected then we are living in an environment of unimaginable freedom and creative potential. I can see how that can freak us out and probably accounts for why so many of us keep creating the same things over and over again even when it doesn’t serve us or the world at large. Just saying. I try to cultivate this as a part of my Christian practice, but really, if we are One then this is not limited to a particular Spiritual discipline. Let’s take responsibility for what we are creating.
